Talented Spurs Youngster Looks To Make His Mark In League One

|

On Friday, Tottenham Hotspur confirmed that highly rated Academy graduate Kazaiah Sterling had again headed out on a loan spell for the 2019/20 campaign, and our 20-year-old striker heads to League One side Doncaster Rovers.

Having progressed through our youth ranks, the youngster already boasts two senior (substitute) appearances for manager Mauricio Pochettino’s first team, and in the second half of last season he had a mixed spell out with Sunderland.

He only made eight substitute showings for the Black Cats, but he did open his senior account with an effort against Accrington Stanley.

Knowing the League One level now, he should be far better prepared to make an impact and have a real breakthrough year for them and everyone will no doubt be hoping he gets quickly off the mark and gets his confidence up.

The move on Friday went through in time for him to feature in the matchday XI for Saturday’s clash against Fleetwood and he was named on the substitutes bench for the tie. Doncaster took the match 3-2 on the day, and Sterling looks to have got the last 20 minutes into his tank as he settles in.
